Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have an infection in ear along with fluid accumulation and when you get into flight, the pressure in changes can lead to increase in inflammation in the ear, increased fluid accumulation and cause increased pain and discomfort along with muffled hearing and blockage..
There seems to be Blocked Eustachian tube due to accumulation of fluid and it is the most common cause for blocked feeling..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopy, x ray and MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you will be given a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, oral decongestants like Phenylephrine, nasal decongestant sprays like Xylometazoline along with antibiotic ear drops..
You should also limit water exposure to ears like swimming and also avoid exposure to loud sounds..
In case if the symptoms does not improve surgical drainage of ears is advised..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
