What Causes Double Vision While Having High BP?
Thank you.I have brother who has high blood pressure problems and smokes at least a pack a day and has a drinking problem. My guess is 12 or more beers in day. He went 5 days without smoking or drinking this past week and does not feel well at all. He has been having double vision problems before quitting and during this week. My question is, should he get medical attention now and if so what can they do. Thanks. Concerned brother.

You have problem of double vision because of high blood pressure. Check a blood pressure first.
Smoking and alcohol drinking may cause high blood pressure problem.
Try to avoid alcohol drinking and smoking.
Consents physician for further treatment.
Start antihypertention drugs if blood pressure is high under doctor' s suggestion.
Do a eye check up also.
Regularly mesure a blood pressure.
