Hello,

You have a history of having Hepatitis C. Presently, you are experiencing nausea, vomiting, dizzy spells associated with sweating. Since vodka is an alcoholic beverage you are suggested to avoid taking it. It looks like your liver is damaged and hence, causing you symptoms. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP. Get liver function tests, CBC, Urinalysis, Imaging tests, etc. to detect the degree of damage to the liver. Sometimes, such symptoms can occur due to gall stones, cholecystitis, etc. You should avoid addictions if any.

Do not take oily food, spicy food, trans fat, refined flour, red meat and food that is not easy to digest. Take boiled food, food cooked in refined flour, lean meat, well cooked whole cereals, cooked veggies and fruits. Avoid taking anything raw. Take food good for liver. Take digestives (Liv 52). To avoid vomiting take anti emetics, one SOS when needed. Take rest, do not stress unnecessarily, Stay well fed, take oats meal, porridge or custard, etc. Stay well hydrated, take ORS, soups and juice. Get clinically assessed and treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
