What Causes Dizzy Feeling While Getting Up From Sitting Position?
My girlfriend feet a little dizzy yesterday when getting up from a sitting position. She thought she would feel better today after a good night s sleep. Today she felt more dizzy when getting up and she has felt more dizzy as the day has gone on. She does not have a fever, but looks a bit paler than normal. She has had no loss of hearing and her ears do not hurt. She did drink an entire bottle of wine two nights ago, but her dizziness has gotten worse not better as time he past. She also smokes pot medicinally to help with stress, depression, anxiety and general pain management. We are not sure why she is dizzy or what to do next

there may be some changes in her body water and electrolytes like sodium , potassium,chloride etc. the dizziness she feels when getting up from bed is due to postural fall in blood pressure . which occurs when there is imbalance in either body water or electrolytes. this imbalance. can simply be corrected with oral rehydration solution or lemon water with salt intake. some times increase alcohol and other drug intake can cause it. dont worry not a big problem.
