Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
This could be BPPV. That is benign paroxysmal positional
vertigo. As the name indicates its benign that is harmless. Many a times subsides on its own.
I recommend the following.
1) Repositioning exercises, the definative and effective treatment for BPPV. You need to consult an ENT doctor for the same.
2) Antivertigo medications like tablet
betahistine for symptomatic relief.
3) Be aware of the possibility of losing your balance, which can lead to falling and serious
injury.
4) Sit down immediately when you feel dizzy.
5) Use good lighting if you get up at night.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a speedy recovery and good health.
Regards,
