What Causes Dizziness?

Our 19 year old granddaughter has dizzy/fainting spells. She has been to several heart doctors who say that there is nothing wrong with her heart. She can have from one to ten spells a day. They can last for anywhere between one day and two weeks, then not happen for several days. She can feel these spells coming on and you can see the color drain from her face. It frightens her as well as all of us in the family. Her parents are self employed an do not have insurance (Thanks Obama!!!!). Any suggestions?
