What Causes Dizziness With Swollen Ear And Throat?

My wife and I just returned from visiting my mom in San Diego and returned to our home 120 miles north. We both feel unbalanced, lightheaded, dizzy. There were a lot of blooming of flowers and such. Myself i have some pain on the left side of my throat by my ear when I swallow that comes and goes.

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum
By your symptoms it seems that you have got upper respiratory tract infection during your travel which is causing you sore throat and odynophagia (painful swallowing).
Salt water gargling with plenty of fluids with rest will definitely help you getting relief. If not please visit your doctor for physical examination and possible anti biotics prescription.
All the best.
