What Causes Dizziness While Suffering From Labyrinthitis?

I had Labyrinthitis last April (per my ENT Doctor. I have lost about 90% hearing in my left ear. I still have severe dizziness. It has been life changing. I have seen my ENT Doctor several times and a specialist. I have also had MRI done on my head. Is there anything else that can be done? This has seriously affected my quality of life. It has been very difficult every day.

Hi,

It is due to irritation of balancing mechanism of inner ear.

You can take drugs like Betahistine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
