What Causes Dizziness While On Acyclovir?

I have been taking 800mg of Acyclovir for six days, five times a day. I have had sore gums, and I thought teeth. I was ready to call the dentist but the pain goes to different areas. Found out that might be a side effect of the med. Today I was working ( I am retired ) on a house remodel. I had to stop and take more than normal breaks. I became light headed, kind of dizzy like. I came home to get some supplies but really not myself.

Hello and thank you for using HCM for your health issues!
I read your post and I think that the symptoms you are experiencing are very likely to be some adverse effects of Acyclovir! You are taking the maximal recommended dose and therefore you are more prone to such negative effects.
You state that one day you stopped working because of more difficult than normal breathing. This is a serious side effect of acyclovir and you should immediately contact your doctor! Stop Acyclovir and contact your doctor as soon as possible!
I wish you a fast recovery!
