What Causes Dizziness, Tunnel Vision And Swelling Behind Throat?

Hi, I have been becoming extremely dizzy and would have tunnel vision, even complete loss of sight upon standing. Sometimes i would even fall. Also have pressure in head and swollen lymph node that is hard and won t move on back of neck on right side. Feels swollen behind my throat as if there are more swollen lymph nodes around there. Brain pressure feels like swelling mostly on top and sides of head but also deep within. Also ringing in ears but no ear infection or problems. Finally, super high blood pressure when laying down 155/104 and chest pain with palpitations constantly which do not stop. Been very weak feeling thoughout body. I feel as if something is seriously wrong as I always have some sort of symptoms and never feel healthy. PLEASE HELP AND GIVE ME SOME IDEA AS FOR WHAT I HAVE GOING ON. Also made an appointment at the doctors. P.s. Sometimes I have confusion and memory problems.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* There can be various clinical conditions which can present with dizziness, tunnel vision, swelling behind throat as

- acute upper respiratory tract infection with enlarged tonsil or adenoids

- brain pathology as a tumor or raised intracranial pressure with secondary manifestations
- systemic pathology as lymphoma or others spreading to the central nervous system
- others

A detailed physical examination is a must before commenting in further details as the symptoms are not predictive of any single or double possible issues, rather it narrates many directions of possibilities.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
