Hello,

You are experiencing light headedness, dizziness, you feel like fainting and it is happening throughout the day. Your symptoms are indicative that you are stressed out and exhausted. Stress can either be physical or emotional. Take rest. Lightheadedness and dizziness commonly occurs due to low BP, low blood glucose level, underweight, anemia, thyroid dysfunction, dehydration, etc. Other medical conditions that can cause such symptoms are ear infections, stroke, developing CAD, etc.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get a complete medical examination done. You should get al required blood works, investigations and imaging tests done. You will be treated accordingly. In the meantime, take adequate amount of fluids, warm beverages, water to help supplement any loss of sodium and potassium level in the electrolyte system of the body. Maintain your blood glucose level to the optimum, sometimes hypoglycemia can be life threatening. Avoid doing any heavy work, do not drive. Stay at rest. Take home made nutritious food. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
