What Causes Dizziness, Hearing Loss And Eye Pain?

I was checking out the results of a Brain MRI. I know my A&P extremely well but this I’m unfamiliar with. T2 and Flair hypersensitivity in the inferior mastoid air cells. I have been having trouble with my hearing, dizziness, balance, eye pain and migraines. I do have SLE. Yet there is a history of otosclerosis in my family. Just wanted to give you all the info. One more thing, there is thickening if the maxillary sinus on that same side as well as an enlarged sublingual gland.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You seem to have sinus infection basically (allergic/infective) followed by involvement of internal ear and mastoid air cells to give you the symptoms. All of these being associated with migraine, eye pain. Consultation of an ophthalmologist and ENT specialist would help.

Thanks.
