What Causes Dizziness And Palpitations?

Had upper endoscopy today due to extreme dizziness and heart palpitations. Last week my hemoglobin dropped from 10.6 to 7.4 in 2 days. Have had black tarry stools for a week. Got 2 units of blood on Friday night/Saturday morning and released with hemoglobin at 9.9. Dizziness gone but heart palpitations. Yesterday late afternoon those went away and felt better. Got an endoscopy today at Barnes Jewish by my gastro Dr Ciorba who I see for crohns. Nothing major found - cauterized couple small places. Felt great for couple hours and then severe heart palpitations again. What could it be?

Whenever gastrointestinal bleeding is there, cause should be identified as soon as possible because that lead to decrease in intravascular volume. This may cause dizziness and heart try to pump blood to meet the vital organs requirement by beating fast as palpitation. Kindly go thorough evaluation and clotting factors study.
