I am feeling dizzy now for approx 3 weeks. We made a stressful move where I was looking up a lot and down a lot. I first thought that was it. It started to get better then I spent several hours one day looking up and it came back with avengence. I am now feeling dizzy and feeling like I am going to throw up. Is it just a continuation of the crystals in my ears moving around and will time probably take care of this?
It is likely related to the inner ears as you suggested.
The inner ear conditions that are commonly related to this disease are: (1) BPPV (2) meniere's disease (3) vestibular neuronitis
In BPPV the episodes last for a few seconds to minutes and are worse with certain head positions. It is treated with the epley maneuver which a doctor would demonstate.
Meniere's is treated with low salt diet and medication if needed. It is normally associated with hearing loss and tinnitus, the dizzy episodes last for minutes to hours.
Vestibular neuronitis- episodes last for hours, treated with a short course of medication
Your doctor can determine the cause for you and treat according to his/her findings.
I hope this helps
