Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your boyfriend's symptoms. They are most likely suggestive of migraine.

In migraine, there can be pain in the temple region, associated with nausea, vomiting or dizziness.

The symptoms get exacerbated on exposure to sunlight or sound.

He can take ibuprofen or diclofenac tablets for pain relief.

If symptoms do not improve, an MRI scan of brain may be done.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
