What Causes Dizziness And Head Spinning?

Yes I got up this morning very dizzy and could not move. And then it went away through the day. Then I went to lay down on my back and it did it again the room was spinning I never had this feeling before what do you think it could be and what can I do about it?

Hello dear,
I understand your concern.You apparently are having short duration episodes of vertigo which seems to be related to neck movements(as it probably started during rising up from the bed and lying down back).This is probably a benign positional vertigo.Medicines like cinnarizine can help(please take under a physician's guidance only).Please consult a physiotherapist to learn Vestibular rehabilitation therapy(VRT).It will help.Hope this reply helped you.
