What Causes Dizziness And Chest Congestion While Having Crohn S Disease?

I ve got a history of active crohn s disease and allergies. I ve had headaches, dizziness, sinus infections, congestion and a lovely asthma cough. I m just trying to figure out if my nutrition is really out of kilter or if the seasonal allergies have kicked up the asthma sinus stuff.

Hello,

Sinus infection with congestion & asthma cough are indicative of an allergy reaction that could be triggered by smoke, pollution, fumes, paints, pollen, etc or stress, anxiety or depression. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT, get X-Ray PNS done to detect sinusitis or deviated nasal septum that is causing you discomfort.

In the meantime, you can take steam inhalation & non sedating antihistamines. You may need antibiotics depending upon the severity of your infection. Take immune boosting foods like nuts, garlic, ginger, almonds, red bell pepper, vitamin C, green tea, papaya, etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
