What Causes Dizziness And Breathing Difficulty?

Hi, I ve been feeling some weird symptoms lately(since like about a year or two) of lightheadedness whenever i get up from laying down or sitting down after a while. Recently I also have been feeling some pressure on my chest and difficulty breathing (irregular breathing as if I forgot to breathe sometimes and gasped to get some air) . I went to see a doctor for my fainting symptoms when I got up but she said that I was probably dehydrated (and didn t tell me to go pass any exams) but I drink enough water during the day and I don t think that is the reason. I have seen on internet that it might be anxiety but I don t feel anxious at all, exept for some situations here and there during school time.

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of stress and anxiety related symptoms is more likely.
But better to rule out heart diseases first.
So get done ecg and 2d echo. If both these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Sometimes undiagnosed stress and tension can cause similar symptoms.
So consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution.
You may need anxiolytic drugs too.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
