What Causes Dizziness And Black Outs In The Field Of Vision?

Over the past month, I have been extremely light headed and even my vision starts to go black. When I get up my legs, specifically my thighs, become weak and I have to sit down immediately. My skin has been extremely sensitive and breaking out into hives and rashes whenever I touch it. After I get out of the shower I am covered in hives all over.

Hello,

I suspect you probably having glaucoma which is causing you this symptom. The only central part of vision you will be seeing and sometimes blackened out, dizziness, haziness all this can happen. If there is raised intraocular pressure and you better get intraocular pressure checked to rule out this if there is a sudden loss of vision we can think of other causes but temporary loss needs to be evaluated. Check your refraction error of the eye also and we will be able to come to the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
