What Causes Dizziness Along With Swollen Tongue And Backache?

this morning and last night had bad pressure in my neck with dizziness, troubled breathing due to a swollen tongue with chest and back pain, abdominal pain, nausea & headache from the medication of levothyroxine of 75mg per day for hypothyroidism. I have a fast heart rate at times with palpitations. Sweat. Symptoms slowly improving. Should I go to hospital? Did not take any levothyroxine today, dr old. Been in bed all day. Little worried earlier with the chest pain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

A swollen tongue can be related to hypothyroidism. In my opinion, your symptoms are not maintained under control with medications. Changes of dose should be done to maintain under control the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
