What Causes Dizziness Along With Pain Around The Kidney Area?

I am experiencing stomach pain and cramps and pain in my kidney area. It came on quite fast. I was at work and got dizzy and all sweaty and almost passed out.. Came home and now the stomach pain and kidneys. I have no diarrhea or cough. I am a diabetic and my numbers have risen. I thought maybe the flu but the stomach pain has increased.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell you that severe pain in the stomach can be due to a number of reasons like renal stone, gallbladder stone or appendicitis. The only way to diagnose is to get an Ultrasonography (USG) abdomen done.

The treatment will depend on your diagnosis. Meanwhile, you can take a painkiller like Tramadol to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma Amman
