What Causes Dizziness Along With Nausea And Sweating?

my 70 year old husband just had a spell of feeling dizzy ,nauseated, cool & clammy. bp was elevated 156/86. after 10 min bp down to 136/72 but all symptoms still present. assisted him to bathroom where he gagged & vomited only phlegm. still feels dizzy & lying down. had this same type spell last March 7 bp stayed elevated so Dr. started him on low dose bp pill.

Acute dizziness can be due to different possible causes such as- dehydration, inner ear conditions, electrolyte disorder. The stress response can cause an increase in blood pressure to occur. If symptoms recur then he may need to consider seeing an ENT specialist for assessment.
