What Causes Dizziness Along With Involuntary Eye Movements?

My eyes involuntarily crossed about 30 minutes ago. I felt light headed while this was going on.I shook my head as if I was trying to clear my head and tried to uncross my eyes. They uncrossed after a few seconds but I still feel slightly light headed as if they want to cross again but the light headedness is not as intense. What could have caused this?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Is it staying in crossed position or beating horizontally? Possible causes are ocular migraine or cranial nerve palsy or irritation or absence seizures etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. you have to avoid high risk activity, if you're going out accompanied with known person. Please consult your physician/ neurologist they will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
