What Causes Dizziness Along With Body Tremors And Palpitations At Night?
For the past several months I have been feeling like I m going to pass out and have fainted after doing very little yard work. I wake up in the middle of the night shaking and get heart palpitations. Are these symptoms of something serious. I believe it may be associated with anxiety but sometimes comes on when I m not feeling anxious at all.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Yes, possibility of stress and anxiety related symptoms is more likely. But better to first rule out heart diseases for your symptoms. So get done ECG, 2d ECHO and Holter monitoring (24 hours continuous recording of ECG). If all these are normal, then no need to worry for heart diseases. Consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution. You may need anxiolytic drugs (Propranolol and Flunarizine combination) too. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health.
Thanks.
