What Causes Dizziness After Receiving Trigger Point Injections?

I recently received several trigger injections in my neck,shoulders,each side of my spine to relax my back and relieve pain from a car accident. Lidocaine with a touch of a steroid was in injections. I ve been experiencing dizziness and light headedness since injections last Thursday. Pain Dr feel symptoms aren t related. I feel like I m high . have experienced diarrhea also since injections. Don t drink alcohol. Don t smoke. should I be concerned about my blood pressure?

The diarrhea and dizziness is unrelated to trigger point injection. The diarrhea is most likely gastroenteritis. And dizziness is usually associated with diarrhea due to fluid loss. So make sure that you stay hydrated.Drink plenty of electrolyte containing fluids like Gatorade. Follow soft diet until the diarrhea subsides.
