In the last couple months I ve been experiencing dizziness especially after eating certain foods. Today I had a corned beef sandwich. I m a 52 year old female with no existing health issues. I m thinking this could be a sign of high blood pressure. Your thoughts...
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. For dizziness rule out common causes first like:
-Blood pressure fluctuations -hypoglycemia -vitamin deficiency -dehydration -panic attack stress induced -alcohol -flu and Otological causes According to cause specific treatment given The investigations done according to suspected causes like stress history, blood pressure measurement, serum glucose level, HB estimation etc. If still no obvious cause found and dizziness is continuous then MRI will be needed.
Take care. Consult physician for examination with keeping all this in mind.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. You definitely need to check your blood pressure because after 40 years there is all the chances of developing hypertension. Especially if you are obese, with sedentary lifestyle, smoking, consuming alcohol and have a family history of having hypertension you are more at risk. Get your BP checked every month. Also you might have allergy to certain food stuff. Identify. Especially high fatty food like beef are more prone for allergy. so avoid it.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best.
With warm regards, Dr. Sanjay Kini
