What Causes Disorganized Thinking For A 66-year-old Female?

Hello..I have a 66 year old aunt and she has a problem every month at the beginning of the month she has these outrages. She says that she can t put her thoughts together and she does strange things. She is always thinking that someone is trying to get over on her and take advantage of her. I m starting to think that she should be tested for schiz disease or bipolar. I need help in making the right decision to help her.

If a similar patient comes to my OPD, I would suggest you that old age is a time same like childhood where one need more attention. You should take her to a psychiatrist to analyse her for Alzheimer's disease and many other diseases of old age. It is always better to directly see a doctor for such concerns.
