General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

To me, this is a case of possible gastrointestinal Candida overgrowth. Should run stool culture and sensitivity testing to rule out Candida.

Treatment is with oral antifungal medication (miconazole or Nystatin). Plus local antifungal cream (miconazole cream) for at least 7 days. Should also add probiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
