What Causes Discomfort In The Nose?

I have been told that I have a mucus plug and I need to do nasal rinses twice a day for two to three weeks. My nose seems to be clearer but there is always something in my nose and it moves from side to side. I have had the deviated septum surgery but I continue to have sinus problems. Will this rinse work?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are suggestive of blocked nostrils secondary to a deviated septum.

As of now, you can use nasal decongestant like Oxymetazoline for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist it is better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
