What Causes Discomfort In The Left Calf?

Hi, I have been experiencing a great deal of discomfort in my left calf and left foot. It began about 2 months ago, but was so minimal I paid no attention. However it steadily got worse. As of Sunday night. I have a trouble walking from one end of 1400 apt to the other . I sleep on my back with leg elevated. I can describe the sensation as a tingling not so much like when you leg falls asleep more like little electric pulses. It hurts to put any pressure on it to walk. The skin on my right foot feels different somehow. If I do start to move around to much. My foot and along side my calf turns a purplish sort of color. It NEVER gets warm nor swollen. Actually it s almost numbing cold and veiny boney. Please get back with me. I can even more descriiot if you want to ask me questions that may better help. Thank you
