Hi, I recently had surgery on my chest called Nuss pectus excavatum and now I feel like something moves on my left and right sides of my chest. Everytime I take a deep breath the things move and also everytime I move my arms the things move. Everytime I take a deep breath I burp and when I burp the things go away. Also keep burping and makes the pain go away. Now I have pain on my right side of my chest and under my breast right side. I have no idea what it is, not even my doctor knows what it is, please help asap thank you.

Hi,

You may need a chest CT scan to know if there is any muscle problem you may have after your surgery, or any bony defect.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
