What Causes Discomfort In The Abdomen Post An IVF Procedure?

Hi, Have a 7years son and trying for second baby through IVF. I forgot to take fertigen injection after 3day embryo transfer but took all other progesterone, estrogen suppliments, gestone injections w/o fail. I have given 7th day blood test today for Estrogen/Progestrone levels. Whenever I walk or during sleep I feel some pulling or discomfort in my C-section area? As I missed to take fertigen during 3rd day after embryo transfer will IVF fail?

Hi,

Medications as the prescribed need to be taken for the success of procedures like IVF. However, missing one dose might not affect much and may not contribute to its failure.

Abdominal pain could be due to some other reason which needs to be managed conservatively.

However, if the abdominal pain intensity increases and gets associated with other symptoms like bleeding or spotting, you need to seek medical attention promptly.

Kindly do the necessary follow-up as advised by your doctor.
