What Causes Discomfort Behind The Rib Cage Post Mesothelioma Surgery?
21 months post surgery for mesothelioma operation , removed left lung pleura . still experiencing discomfort daily in back behind rib cage, rib cage and front left abdomen just lower than rib cage. any meds to relieve this . Currently taking celebrex for unrelated knee pain. 59 year old male. thanks

Most probably it could be neuropathic pain following the surgery.
Consult a physician and get evaluated. You have to start on drugs like Gabapentin which is quite effective for similar pain conditions.
