What Causes Discoloration On Toes Post An Ankle Fusion?

I had a ankle fusion on nov 30 of this year and I have yet to get my cast off and stiches out. I have noticed a bit of a purple tinge to the top of the fleshy part of my foot and 4 hours later I noticed it spreading to the first two toes, not the big toe. Was just wondering if I should go and get it checked or if its the natrual part of healing after the surgery.
