What Causes Discoloration On The Breasts?

I am a 41 yof, w a 2-3 mo. Hx of bilateral Breast discoloration. It appears as bruise like, irregular patterns on both breasts. There is no retraction of the nipple, or skin dimpling, or discharge. I had a normal MMG August last year. There is no pain, and no obvious lump or bumps. I am less concerned because it is Bilateral, and had a normal MMG last year. However, it is not going away, and I have no idea why it appeared.

Hi,

We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared since the last mammogram was a year ago and discolouration persists, a repeat gynaecologist review an ultrasound or mammogram may be needed.

Though discolouration of skin creases can be benign but better be careful to rule out any malignant cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
