What Causes Discoloration Behind The Ear?
Hi, I just noticed that my 3 year old daughter has a discoloration behind her ear. She s really light skinned But the discoloration behind her left ear is so whiter than her skin color. It looks like the discoloration I spreading as well. I m worried..what could that be??

I can understand your concern.
the discoloration can be due to the ornament she might be wearing in the ear.
this is called contact dermatitis.
i would suggest you to remove such jewelry if she has been wearing them.
a short course for one week of topical steroid like hydrocortisone would be beneficial.
