What Causes Discoloration And Itching In Inner Parts Of Feet?

I m trying to figure out why the inner parts of both feet keep itching. They have a darkened area from scratching and whatever is causing it perhaps. I m a 26 year old female, no known health conditions. I ve visited a dermatologist before that did a biopsy which mentioned dyshidrotic dermatitis but the itch is still there. It s a surface itch where it can itch and scratching helps, it s not an internal itch that s hard to reach. I m scheduled for a new dermatologist visit soon but thought I d ask. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Dyshidrotic eczema can cause itching on the hands and feet, in your case, your feet.

This can vary from a mild problem to severe.

Topical steroids and cold compresses are the main aspect of treatment. Oral steroids are sometimes required as well.
You may also need to identify stessors as well.

I hope this helps
