Hello,

I can understand your concerern. Bleeding during sexual intercourse is a very common complaint and it tends to go away on its own. Usually, it is due to trauma to vagina during sex or due to dryness of vagina. You can use a lubricant next time to avid bleeding due to this reason. There might be nothing to worry about and you can forget this episode of it disappears in next 2-3 times.

However, if it continues in the same amount every time you have sex, then you should consult a gynecologist for the physical examination and detection of presence of any inflammation in the vagina, presence of polyp etc.

I hope this answer clears your query. Thank you for choosing HCM. Let me know if I can help you in future.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
