What Causes Difficulty Walking With Normal X-ray Post Injury?

My wife had fell herself in 6 years ago on both of the shin to the angle of the step. They were swollen and sore for a few days but she had finally said they didn t hurt anymore. Now 6years later she was hit on that same spot and they were swollen again and sore. We are icing it and go to see Dr. then X-ray, do MRI but everything is OK . Now she can not walk about 1 mile . How she does treatment ?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I would recommend you to get x ray of her shin to make sure that it is not a hairline fracture. If there is fracture than you need to take treatment line calcifying therapy . I would also suggest you to apply compression bandage when she walks for longer distance.
