I am 52 yrs old and am not having any pain or serious trouble urinating, however, I do find emptying my bladder to be a fair bit easier by applying some slight pressure at the top of my bladder. I later read that such a method is used and is called Crede s procedure, normally used to aid paralytic. Is gentle massaging or applying pressure on my upper abdomen to more fully empty my bladder a good method? Will it weaken or strengthen my bladder muscles or only have a benign effect? Thank you.
