when I wake up my right eyelid will not open and it takes some hours to do so I have seen my own doctor who is going to do blood tests as he thinks I may have a particular serious desease I have had a number of strokes am diabetic I have no thyroid and have copd

I have understand your concern

probabilities of your eye lid opening problem are
1. Bell's palsy due to stroke
2.diabetic neuropathy
3.Horner's syndrome

I can suggest you to get done
1.MRI brain with contrast
2.blood sugars _FBS , ppbs
3.RFT and LFT

physiotherapy exercises can improve the muscle strength

after reports we can take proper plan of action
