What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing?

I have a head and spine injury and nerve damage. I am having problems swallowing and it feels like food is stuck. Its been getting worse and now when I cough by sides hurt right below my chest? Dysphagia I read could be it but doesn t explain the pain? Some side of kidney infection from it? I have also been real bloated. Any ideas?
