Hello,
Thank you for your query.

The male ejaculated consists of sperms and semen (the fluid the nourishes the sperms).
The healthy sperms usually travel into the cervix (mouth of the uterus) with the first few minutes after intercourse.
The semen stay in the vagina and later comes out as you go about your day.

Trying to conceive can be a frustrating journey, especially when you want to see a positive test and get all negatives.

Would you clarify a few things for me, please?
*how old are you and your husband?
*do you have any children?
*have you ever been pregnant?
*are your periods regular?
*what is your height and weight?

In any given month, the chances of conceiving are about 15-25%, depending on your age. So don't lose hope
I recommend :
- a folic acid supplement everyday
-regular intercourse (every alternate day)
-monitor ovulation date by using basal body temperature monitoring and ovulation prediction kits. Time intercourse on the day of ovulation and for three days prior to that. This is your most fertile time.
-maintain healthy diet, and lifestyle by reducing stress and exercising.
-drink plenty of water.
-try for 6 months (if below 30 yes of age) and for a year of younger.
-take a pregnancy test only if your have missed your period (on the day the missed period is due). This prevents false negatives and unnecessary testing.
The above is to be followed if your periods are regular.

If irregular, consult your OBGYN for further assistance and guidance.

Please don't lose hope and get stressed.
It take an average of 6 months to Conceive and majority conceive within a year of trying with regular intercourse, provided all other parameters are normal (ovulation, hormones, semen analysis).

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health.
