What Causes Diastasis Recti And Overpronation Of The Feet?

Hi, My 12 year old daughter has history of 10 missing adult teeth, severely over pronated feet, and now seems to present with a rectus diastasis. She has never been above the 5th percentile in height. I m wondering if she may have a connective tissue issue. Otherwise, other than severe headaches for 3-4 years, she is usually healthy. What is your opinion?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The symptoms are due to congenital causes where there is deranged collagen causing the issues. Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. Surgical correction is required for better results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
