What Causes Diarrhea,vomiting And Blood In Stool?

My uncle has been sick for two months throwing up and has diaherra and has blood in his stool. He has had fever had a lot of pain in his side he also has diabetes and low blood sugar he thinks he had food poisoning. Today he pooped out raw meat. What is causing all this? What kind of foods and drinks can he have to make it better? And can he take pepto besmo?

He should be assessed by his doctor.

Chronic diarrhea and vomiting can be due to different possible causes such as:(1)infections
(2)inflammatory bowel diseases such as crohns or ulcerative colitis
(3)diabetes, thyroid disease
(4)side effect of medication
(5)irritable bowel syndrome
(6)food allergy or sensitivity
(7)liver or kidney disease

He should be seen. This would involve physical examination, stool sample to the lab and blood tests.

This assessment would determine the cause of his symptoms.
