What kind of foods and drinks can he have to make it better? And can he take pepto besmo?
Chronic diarrhea and vomiting can be due to different possible causes such as:(1)infections (2)inflammatory bowel diseases such as crohns or ulcerative colitis (3)diabetes, thyroid disease (4)side effect of medication (5)irritable bowel syndrome (6)food allergy or sensitivity (7)liver or kidney disease
He should be seen. This would involve physical examination, stool sample to the lab and blood tests.
This assessment would determine the cause of his symptoms.
I hope this helps
