What Causes Diarrhea And Anxiety After Discontinuing Opiate?

I already asked a question almost an hour ago. No response??? I asked about possible withdrawal symptoms of discontinuing opiate usage. I have been taking 20-30 mg daily for several years and have been off of them for 7 days and having diarrhea and anxiety still. Was wondering how long this should last? And after paying for this I hope I will be refunded the first time I asked question. Thank you

Hello Dear,
Thanks for reaching us.
The symptoms that you are experiencing are due to opioid withdrawal. The symptoms due to opioid withdrawal are both physical and emotional. The duration of the symptoms vary among the people. Symptoms usually last for a week or more.
The symptoms due to opioid withdrawal are
Early symptoms: anxiety, altered perception to temperatures, altered libido, agitation, fatigue, dehydration, increased tearing, muscle aches, runny nose, increased sweating, yawning or insomnia.
Late symptoms: nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, sneezing or goose bumps.
Withdrawal of opioids by yourself can be extremely hard and can also be dangerous. It is better to take suggestions from your health care provider to withdraw from the opioids. Medical detox is suggested to stop opioid intake. Medical detox includes treatment with medications and psychological support under the supervision of the concerned professionals. Medical detox usually takes from 5-7 days.
After the medical detox, the counselling and support groups help to keep away from the opioids.
I hope, I answered your question.
Thanks
