What Causes Diarrhea After Back Surgery?
My husband has had loose bowel movements for months after back surgery..didnt tell. Now he has stomach cramps before eating and about 1 hour after meals. He eats crackers between meals, eats less, lost a few pounds since June. Endoscopy scheduled 7.20. What should we expect to hear?

It could be irritable bowel disease (IBD) and probably not related to back surgery. As of now include more and more fiber rich foods in the diet. You will get a clear clinical picture after colonoscopy.
