What Causes Development Of Herpes?

I had herpes for a year and a half and didn t know it until recently. I ve had unprotected sex with a man for over two years, and he came back negative on a blood test. Only been with two people in the time frame so it s obviously the other man, How is this possible? I have a very mild case. Is herpes in the vagina fluids or is it just from the direct site of outbreaks? Confused a little...

I undeerstand your concern, herpes simplex is a viral disease which transmitted by direct contact with body fluids (saliva, vaginal secretions, genital secretions) or lesions of an infected individual. Genital herpes will transmit via unprotected sex with the infected person. Use protection while having intercourse as it may spreads to your partner.
