What Causes Depression Along With Hallucinations?

Hi, I was diagnosed with depression. Recently the same symptoms started to come back. With the additional hallucinations which didn t happened before. Am I having psychotic depression? And what s the best way to counter cogni deficit due to depression? Thanks.

Hello,

1. Depression commonly occurs due to Stressful life & lack of love & affection.
2. Genetic factors, Childhood trauma.
3. Abuse of Recreational drugs.
4. Environment & Psychosocial factors.
5. Life events like divorce, work issues, marital problems, medical problems, financial issues, being unsuccessful, etc.
6. Chronic disease triggers depression.

You are suggested to visit a Psychiatrist or a Mental Clinician & get assessed & treated. It looks like you are suffering from Psychotic depression. Left untreated it will trigger the chances of Bipolar disorders complicating to recurrent episodes of the same, mania & suicide. In the meantime stay away from addictions if any, love yourself, love your life, stay happy, avoid stress. Listen to music, play games, go outdoors, make new friends. Exercise regularly. Ea healthy.
