General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for your query

I recommend :
-a home pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant.
-if negative, just let this cycle complete. If this occurs frequently, please see an OBGYN to make sure all is well.
-an ultrasound of the pelvis and blood tests, if required

Sometimes hormonal imbalances can occur which can cause changes in flow and menstrual irregularities.

Oral contraceptive pills can also lead to these. Other causes include illness, recent travel across time zones, stress, sudden lifestyle and weight changes.

Take proper rest, nutrition and water. Exercise everyday if possible. A 30 minute walk will do.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Wish you good health
